I bought tickets for the CBB national championship game in New Orleans. I paid $200 a piece for a pair. By the day of the game, tickets were selling for $15.
I wasn't ripped off, but I also overpaid.

Bathroom remodel and wound up choosing a shitty contractor based on him being the husband of our HR manager. Did not do my research and it bit me to the tune of at least $20,000 of overcharges.
