US flag, made by my great-great grandmother and carried by my great-great grandfather as he and a bunch of Wisconsin patriots made their way through the south, eventually ended in TX (including battles in LA). Actually, just donated the flag to museum in Oceola, WI.

As a kid, I always looked forward to visiting my grandparents and having them pull out the flag. Each star was slightly different and the hand stitching was obvious...a bit tattered and stained, but inspiring nonetheless. I have a cool photo from late 1800s with my great great grandfather sitting in front of the flag on the front porch of the family farmhouse.

- The only known 30" x 40" self portrait painted by DEBO.
- My home. Built somewhere in the late 1890's. It's been 80% restored.
- Two silver forks my grandfather brought home from WWII from one of Hilters dwellings.
- 8mm Mauser from WWII.
- Boat access only camp with electricity and a well!

I don't think that. It's a pretty cool piece of world history. Especially if you think of what it stands for. I have a piece when I traveled there from a German friend He was there with his sledge hammer and saved a few pieces as mementos. Maybe not rare but still cool.
