The abduction and torture of William Francis Buckley in Lebanon. Just ghastly.

I saw that. It’s haunting. Wish I never would’ve seen it.

Whoa! I’ve never heard of him. 15 months of torture!!! I read they tortured him until he gave up his network of CIA spies whom Hezbollah found and killed. It said he was kept in a cell about the size of a coffin and died of pneumonia and other ailments due to no medical treatment.

In the early 80’s a grad student used a torch to remove the top off of a 55 gallon drum, if I remember correctly.
Top blew off and decapitated him.
Memory is a bit foggy on this one but I think it was at the LSU dairy.

A guy was working on the HEUI (Hydraulic Electronic Unit Injector) system on a Cat engine without safety glasses. He did something wrong and got hit square on the eye with a jet of diesel under several thousand PSI. Killed him instantly.

That is my understanding as well, and yet another reason I will never give the terror groups any slack whatsoever.

People doing what Hezbollah did to Mr. Buckley or the 9/11 & 10/7 attacks have led me to believe there is no way to deal with these animals except kill them.

A few years ago, a guy dressed up like Uncle Sam on the Fourth of July. He was smoking a cigarette and dancing before he decided to light a firework on the top of his top hat. Unfortunately when the firework exploded it killed him instantly. I think he may have posted here.

No way as impossible? I don't know if it's true or not but it is possible.

Got one that’s straight-up wild. In 2021, a 23-year-old at Yellowstone wandered off-trail and fell into a boiling, acidic hot spring. Guy basically dissolved—park rangers found almost nothing left. Craziest part? A month later, some professor pitched using those springs as a “green” cremation method. Like, what? Who’s got a weirder one than that?

Many years ago, a St. Tammany Parish Sheriff deputy was killed when a tree fell on his car during a funeral procession in Covington. A bad thunderstorm rolled through the area and the high winds pushed over a dead tree on top of his car.

I went to high school with Beau, nice dude. The whole thing was just a crazy, unfortunate series of events. He was in the car with his girlfriend, also a deputy . They were in the procession of another officer who died in a crash a few days before. She lived another 15 years or so after the accident but died 2 years ago.

Pilate found him innocent of any capital crime under Roman law
