Similar situation
About 12 or 13 years ago, a lady friend texted me a nude.
For whatever reason - I can’t remember, I tried to send it to my email, which was essentially just my full name and some numbers @ gmail.
Well, I was so excited I forgot to add the numbers.
Some fortunate bro, with same name as me, somewhere else in the America, with the same lack of creativity when creating email address names, received the picture and replied with the supportive message of “Nice. Congrats.”
I walked a little taller that day. It feels nice to give sometimes. And it also feels nice to receive positive feedback.

When my 1st granddaughter was about to be born, we had a text group going with me, my wife, the other grandparents and the parents.
So how, the other granddad's phone number got messed up and we added a stranger to the group. So he was getting all of the text and updates. Once we realized it, we took him off the group. He had not replied or anything at that point.
About 2 hours after the baby was born, he texted asking about the outcome, if mom and baby were ok and thanking us for including him in such a big family moment.
