Both genetic, some people are more sensitive about it and resort to surgical procedures to correct. Some people of the opposite sex care about it, some don’t.
Unable to have kids is not a good comparison.

OP said a dude being bald. Not going bald. So I equate it as a 30 years old guy meeting a 30 year old woman. One bald and one with small tits.
