When I was 2 and a half years old, my brother was born. He was very sick and I remember my parents taking care of him. He would stop breathing and they would freak out.

Being locked in a crib watching the dog on the floor below me.

JFK was still erect.

My momma lying out on the kitchen floor after she electrocuted herself cleaning the oven. Who knew the light socket missing a bulb was a bad thing?

No pics.

Great topic. I was 2 about to get my tonsils out. I remember laying on the operating table, and them giving me the gas telling me to "blow up the balloon". I woke up in some nurses arms who was holding me after the surgery and wondering where the hell my parents were. Finally, getting lots of jello to eat. That was 42 years ago.

Some late night horror movie intro with a flaming skull scared the shite out of me while I was watching TV along. Parents had to rush in and turn off the TV. I was about 4, living in Lafayette at the time. I remember getting a G.I. Joe for Christmas. Then we lived in a big old house in Carencro for about 6 months, then moved to Grant Parish.

Moving into our new house when I was three. That's the earliest one I can put an exact date on. Fragmentary memories before that, one of which is looking up in the sky at an airplane.

Mine weirds my family out...

I apparently recall laying in a crib when I was around 1 or younger.

My family would all stay together at our family's business during hurricanes since it was a concrete structure. When I was a teenager, we where all reminiscing past storms. They where talking about the location they used to stay at before the current building. I mentioned that I remember being in a crib on the 2nd floor, and seeing a window and a chair.

They couldnt believe I could remember it because they moved from that location before I was 2 and the crib was only in that room for place for a short period of time. Now its entirely possible I combined some earlier memories and somehow i meshed them together in some purely coincidental fashion. But, my mom always thought it was weird that i knew the details of that place.

I was about 19 months old hiding inside a drainage canal and hearing tanks rumbling down the highway.

I remember preschool at 3/4...we'd "paint" water on the brick wall outside and watch the brick change color as the water went on and then evaporated.
I also liked snakes because of Jafar's snake stuff in Aladdin. My dad made me a paper "snake" and some kid ripped it up so I was sad.

I was weird.

This made me remember being in a theater at 2 1/2 years old when Disney re-released Song of the South in theaters. I vividly remember the "Zippity Do Da" song. I just googled it because it was released in 1968 but they re-released it as a limited run in 1986. This would be my earliest memory for sure. I remember dosing off a little watching it.

This thread delivers.
