I've lived in both actually. Bellingham WA and NYC. The weather is better on the West Coast. The people are also a little more laid back. Outside of the major cities, most people from the South would probably be surprised how many conservative outdoorsman live in these regions.

Jesus what a dumb threat title. That's way too broad of an area to make some type of sweeping generalization on how the culture is. The culture is different in many parts of both areas. As proof, just one moron below you tried to lump the areas as nothing but liberal and full of majority Jews. Get out and see different areas. If you have then you're blind if that's what you grasped about NE. One small area does not represent all of NE culture. Same for west coast. I'm not even sure why this needs to be said. It should be common sense.

NE tends to be a lot more stuffy than the west coast. You also see a ton of "WE LOVE EVERYONE... JUST DON'T LET THEM LIVE NEAR US!!!!"

I live in Texas... Our governor is a republican... And Texas is a million times better than Massachusetts.

Yeah that's why Texas is always ranked so much higher than Mass. in every state ranking that ever gets posted here.

Wow, state rankings, huh? According to the US News state rankings, N. Dakota is in the top 5. I guess I should think about moving to N. Dakota then.

Poor #38. So upset because not everyone shares your feelings on your hometown.
