What is the consesus on Persol sunglasses?

These are the best pair of glasses I've ever owned. I love them
PO 2424S in Gunmetal, don't make it anymore, but I went out of my way to buy a 2nd pair even when they aren't produced after I lost my first pair on a hungover plane trip

I have a few pairs of Persol and they are my favorites.
However, the ones you posted, I do not like. but congrats to you for looking at something other than costas.

Love persol
I have 2 pair. The 2953S is my favorite
I also recommend the Oliver Peoples: Becket - they have a slightly better fit than the Persols
Tom Ford: Snowdon - I don't wear these as much anymore. They look really slick though
