Climbed a shagbark hickory in a climbing tree stand. It was the right spot - I shot a deer. But, even beyond the pieces of bark that flip out and are annoying (you can get past those), the bark is super hard and slick. The upper part of my stand slipped and dropped to the bottom part once. So glad the bottom held. Never again though.

I never found shrooms particularly intense. Salvia, on the other hand, is extremely intense. I can't say I would never do it again, though.
The biggest mistake people make with psychedelics is using them without a settled mental state. If you have fricked up things on your mind, the trip can drown you in them.
