Because his brain doesn’t work right. If I was a terrible cook, or even mediocre, he may have a point.

Of course you can heat hot water you moron. Otherwise hot water would only have one temperature.

Yeah, I mean you can take hot water and make it hotter, but if you are able to get hot water without a water heater then there would be no point in getting a water heater.

I mean, the water coming out the faucet when I turn on the Cold during the summer is super hot for about 30 seconds.
A water heater just adjusts the temperature of the water. I don’t think there’s a definitive measurement of “hot”. It’s a relative concept.
