Is he building onto yours that already exists? If so, then you've already paid by putting more than half of it up for both of you basically.

I had a similar situation, and my neighbor just asked if I minded if he added on to where I left off on his side. He agreed to the same type of posts/color stain so it was no issue for me.

Then how are bears getting into the yard? Do you need a taller fence?

Am I being trolled here?

No fence, bears in the yard.

Now I have fence, bears no longer come in my yard.

If the above picture is accurate then I'd say you shouldn't pay for shite. Otherwise you ended up paying for 3/4 of the fence.

Just dont br mad if he puts up something that doesnt match.

Come on, do it in Revit so we can get a 3D view of what's going on.

Don't get short with me because you can't provide actual details in a question being asked.

Now if you were going to complete the fence on your back and other sides, then yeah, I'd split the one side with him

I put mine up 4 years ago. He just moved in.

Yes, I would like it all the way back. I pretty much already put up half.

He's not asking for me to pay but I feel like I should at least think about offering.

I'm thinking I don't owe anything since I paid for half the property line and I paid for that all myself. So half his property on our side of the yard is done.

If he wants to finish it all the way out then I should be good without owing him anything correct?

Even though he has to put up only half his property line because I paid for it already in full before he moved into his house?

Why don't both of y'all talk to your husbands and have them make it a weekend project you do yourself. You'll save thousands.

You could even sweeten the pot by offering blowjobs once they get done

Bears don't come now because you fenced in half of the yard?

They are Florida bears.

You should at least offer. It will go along way towards being friendly neighbors especially since he just moved in.
