The wife may have killed her rig, in addition to a 200 lb 8 pt.

Did you throw it in the trunk and take it home and clean it at least?

Basically, trade-in value prior to the damage.

She would have probably been killed in that, no I drive it now.

Is it illegal to keep a deer you smashed with your SUV?

trade-in
I figured as much. Not a technical term per say, but if you need cash for something ‘right now’...you’re not getting top dollar.

Might as well eat it at that point.

ACV means simply open market value.

The opposite of “replacement cost value”

Yes

Either the cops, the firemen, or the tow truck driver has it then.

They will probably start at trade-in you want to get near retail. People often don't understand it is a negotiation just like buying a car. Do your KBB/Edmunds/NADA research and be ready to counter offer and support your claim.

We got ours full custom from the factory, so it’s difficult. Should I take the factory/port hitch off when I see it off tomorrow? Doubt they’ll throw that kind of stuff in the value. I’ll swap out the floor mats and cargo lining...we’ll replace the vehicle in kind and we’d just have to buy the same stuff again. Roof bars weren’t on it.
The numbers varied a good bit, but yea I’ll document my findings. A one owner autotrader car is much different to me than the one we have, not sure how it all plays out.
Honestly, hard to imagine they couldn’t fix it for what it’s worth.
:Pours some out:

Its basically what you could buy the same car, same year, mileage, etc. right now. So start searching and find what had in your area for sale. My friend got low balled by his insurance on his totaled vehicle. When he showed up with his research, the offer amount went up

It the actual fricking over you're about to get from your insurance company.
