That's the thing. Other than an obscure rule made by some highly degreed bitch who was stuck up her own arse, there's no basis in that rule. No particular reason, just a personal opinion that was made into "grammar law"

I keep asking for a summary of the scores posted to prove that the claims have been outrageous. I think it's overblown a little in this thread.

Its ok Rome... Rag just had a little too much fun at Cedarcrest. I told him to calm down but he had one too many cape cods. those things were killer tonight though. we had 4 pitchers full

I think in modern usage, no one cares TOO much most of the time. You're more likely to say "Who do I give this to?" than "To whom do I give this?"
Unneeded prepositions are annoying to me, though. "Where is it at?" Why need "at"?

Not sure why. ACT scores mean nothing after you get into college.
