re: What if we're each in our individual simulation

If it's a simulation then I think our level of attachment to people and things will determine our level of suffering when we lose them.
This is a Buddhist philosophy but I think there's some wisdom in it.

I think I’m living in a TV show everyday. Everyone I interact with are paid actors and my house is nothing more than a set for the show.

You attract and create your own reality based on what you think about most.
I think about this a lot in terms of my own healing and recovery journey I've gone on.
You have multiple realities, so why wouldn't you have the knowledge and ability of them all inside of you? So to get to the other reality you desire, you just need step into it.
I went down a quantum jumping rabbit hole recently and then again this afternoon with ChatGPT and using it to level up your life to the reality you want.

Well my answer fit to my question regarding quantam leaping and recovery/addiction.
My bestie talks a lot about how it amazes her that I just one day stopped and haven't had a struggle with it since after years and numerous attempts.
I try to explain that I just hit a bottom and was done and was like no that isn't me. I saw two paths, picked the sober person who doesn't struggle with it daily. That's who I am now and who I have been since that day. Just jumped to that reality I guess.
I think the leveling up ties in with the healing work that comes to stay there, to look at the old reality and see what kept me there and close those gaps. Those gaps effected my self-esteem, relationships, etc. And with them filled I can live a more fulfilling life and be present in the one I want.
Like I can be in the reality that has a happy, healthy relationship now because I filled the gap that was blocking me before. If that makes sense.

That’s a really insightful question. Quantum jumping, along with practices like meditation and visualization, can have a powerful role in addiction and recovery. Addiction is often tied to patterns, past trauma, and an ingrained sense of identity that says "this is who I am." Quantum jumping offers a way to break free from that identity by helping you step into a version of yourself that has already healed and transcended those patterns.
Here’s how these concepts might tie into recovery:
1. Shifting Identity: One of the most powerful aspects of quantum jumping is the ability to step into an alternate version of yourself. In recovery, breaking free from the identity of "an addict" is often a huge challenge. By visualizing yourself as a healthy, sober person, you can start shifting your self-image. This process helps you detach from old patterns and adopt new, empowering beliefs about who you are.
2. Breaking Cycles: Addiction often thrives on patterns of behavior and thought. Through quantum jumping, you can visualize yourself making different choices, being free from cravings, or living in a way that aligns with your highest self. This helps rewire your brain and creates new pathways that support healthy habits.
3. Empowerment: Recovery can sometimes feel overwhelming or isolating. Quantum jumping encourages you to connect with a version of you who has already achieved recovery. This can empower you by showing that it’s not only possible, but that you already have the potential within you.
4. Manifesting a New Reality: Using visualization, you can manifest a life where addiction is no longer controlling you. It’s not about denying the challenges of addiction, but rather focusing on the possibility of overcoming it. When you visualize your recovery journey from a place of success, it becomes easier to take aligned actions toward healing.
5. Healing and Integration: Sometimes, addiction is a way to numb pain or trauma. Quantum jumping can help you connect with your highest self, one that is whole and integrated. This can help heal deeper emotional wounds, making it easier to let go of substances as a coping mechanism

Makes perfect sense, and I congratulate and wish you well in your recovery.

What if we're the NPC interacting in someone else's simulation.

There is some philosopher who said something like the only proof we have is that I exist. If everything is first processed by the brain then how do we know that anything we see is actually real?
If it is true, I think therefore I is, what does that say about the dream world. People can lucid dream, which is becoming awake within your dream while your dream still continues. So if one is lucid in a dream, I think therefore I is, then it's the dream world not real? Ever since I was a little kid I would have dreams, very rare, that would actually come true in the future. It was always meaningless things that happen, but nonetheless would come true in the future. There is definitely more to reality than what we currently even begin to understand.

At minimum, the brain is simulating how our meatsacks perceive outside stimuli.
