I don't know about that. Scooba had a good point. The pump issue would not have been brought to light because they couldn't have handled this scenario anyway.

It would be a horrible situation because they would need to evacuate the entire city.

NOLA city officials are complacent and unprepared. The citizens don't trust the local government. It would be a horrifying thing to watch unfold.

Houston is a viable metro area, a powerhouse. Nola is a failed shell of a once great city. Had it come to Nola it would have sucked for those who lived there and for Louisianiansbin general, but been far preferable for America than having Houston underwater. Imho.
