What has been your increase in kwh during the SAH?

I just read my meter and it is high af. I think it is saying 39,000! That’s about three times the monthly average in the US. Holy shite . Electricity bill stacked my wallet fuuuuucked

April had 2792 kWh this year compared to 1397 from last year.

I never read my meter and just happened to be outside, it’s got to be 3900 but there’s no decimals so I don’t know how to read this shite

Just checked it out. I'm way up but it started before the shutdown. Kids must be growing weed in the attic.

We have had some cool weather and I haven't my AC yet..But my bill was higher than normal..Damn those new meters are over charging...

My meter says 40908 but I just looked up my usage history on my utilities web site.

We have solar and net metering, so what we are seeing is that more of the power produced during the day is being used at the house and not put back on the grid, which means less credits for us at night when we pull power from the grid.
2019, we pulled 684 from grid and sent back 481, for a net of 203.
2020, we pulled 857 from grid and sent back 250, for a net of 607.
So our billed usage basically tripled.
Our water bill tripled as well. But we have been filling a kiddie pool, running a waterslide, did a ton of gardening and watering, spent a weekend pressure washing the entire house, and everyone is using more water at home during day.

Our weather has been particularly mild for spring so far this year. I used 1352 last month which does not appear to be too high.

Demco is a co-op and I've always found them to be a good bit cheaper than Entergy. I'm glad that's who we have.
