Was in Gatlinburg for Thanksgiving. Almost got bit by a monkey in Wal-Mart. No, not my monkey. And, yes, Wal-Mart.

While sitting on woman's shoulder (who was riding one of those seats on wheels) on the frozen food aisle, as I told her that I thought she was nuts for bringing a monkey into Wal-Mart, she said that he does not like strangers.

I smacked my head in disbelief about the absurdity of what she just told me....even for Wal-Mart standards. Monkey got testy. Several of us backed away as if the primate were wielding an explosive banana.

Fackin stranger-hating monkey in Wal-Mart day before Thanksgiving...

Sorry. Missed your disclaimer

There is something about a good small dog. All they want to do is be with you. It gets hard to turn them down

I think many small dogs are bad because they are left alone too much

I wouldn't say that, but many people who have no anxiety at all claim they have it to take their pets in places where they shouldn't be.

There are no issues past being blind and a person depends on one of those seeing eye dogs to get around that is severe enough that you can't leave the fricking dog at the house to go eat dinner.

When I was in school there was a non-traditional student that was blind that really inspired me. He had a stick that he'd sweep in front of him and he'd walk all over campus and up and down stairs getting to his classes. I'm still amazed at how he did it. I'd often follow him a little bit when I saw him to both be available if he needed help but to also observe him work his way around obstacles. Was truly incredible, I wouldn't be able to find my way to the mailbox and back much less get around a college campus.

No bullshite emotional issue compares to the struggle that guy has everyday.

Doesn't bother me as much as men in their 30s+ who don't play a sport requiring explosive movements but are so proud of their deadlifts, squats, cleans in the gym.

I have seen a woman get chewed out by a restaurant manager for thinking her miniature schnauzer was perfectly fine inside to dine. I literally laughed bc how fricking stupid could you be.

People take their mutts out all the time in Paris. Even nice restaurant s. No big deal. They will even serve them a bowl of water.

Now let me explain one thing. People over there know how to behave. They aren't bringing pits or rottys inside. Usually it's small dogs and they are well behaved. No one has a dog acting up and then screaming about their rights.

I take mine to Lowes and Home Depot. I get a cart, put towel in child seat, and put him in. Never has a problem and behaves.
