This is an interesting little site I found...

https://www.buytigers.com/

quote:

It was a dream until yesterday, now it's true. Directly from our India breedings, we give you the possibility to buy a tiger ONLINE and without any trouble.
Tiger is probably the strongest feline predator on earth, but you will discover that it can be a lovely pet as well, loyal, friendly and TOTALLY HARMLESS.
We have been shipping tigers worldwide since 1984, giving our lucky customers the chance to own the most fashionable animal in earth.
We ship the tigers via sea everywhere in the world, .
Obviously, a tiger isn't an animal for everyone. This is for true nature lovers and purists, and it comes 5 months old, already trained to be nice with its owner, to eat meat and respond to basilar voice orders.

We'll send you the breeding manual together with your little tiger, that will let you know EVERYTHING about this marvellous animal, his diet, training and health.

Obviously, you will need much more information before you purchase a Tiger and make a reservation. You can MAIL US with all of your questions, we'll send back as soon as possible.

The full Tiger Pack costs 13400$ and includes:

• a 5 months old female tiger
• The original HELLO TIGER guide
• An IVORY collar (ext. value: $1200)
• Three tiger toys (ext. value: $160)

We only accept money orders and personal U.S. Checks.

MAIL US for tigers lists and reservations.

Thank You Very Much for your interest. ROARRR!

Technically, this might be a scam by 8-ball the tiger.

Anyone have a pic of the tiger?

The gas station in waverly used to have a tiger in a cage too.

It was just pacing back and forth, non-stop. It did it the whole time I saw it before and after my nap

This probably isn't good. It sounds like the tiger equivalent of "depression" might be displayed by continuous pacing: LINK.

Question, does anyone know if the owner actually attended LSU?

This LINK has a short bio of the owner. Sounds like he moved to Grosse Tete from Texas.

Apparently he's not an a-hole, he's a victim.

And looks like his documentary is about to explode in popularity. To have a premiere at Chalmette Movies is a big deal.

Most of them don't.

How do you know how a miserable tiger looks like. Vet knowledge?

I read a vets report that described in detail some of his behavior that showed he's under heavy anxiety. I'll go see if I can find it, but it basically said he's constantly depressed.

Please provide a bio on the vet as well. I'm curious about his/ her credentials and affiliations.

I'm looking right now. It was eye opening and something I hadn't thought much about until I read it.

I'm sure the article has some value. But I'm curious as to the angle of the author.

It was definitely from his side, maybe even part of the lawsuit. I never knew it was going on till I saw it randomly on my Facebook feed a few years ago. It's a pretty interesting case.

The vets side or the owners. I'd like objectivity regardless.

The people trying to free hims side. They focused on the constant pacing as it was one of the main outward displays of depression and anxiety. I can't remember what their Facebook page was called.

Private property.

If you don't like it, stay away.

None of your business.

Pretty much this, pass it every day but never been. The Tiger probably has it better than the monkey at fun fair Park did.

Perhaps you should bust him out, put a leash on him.
See how that works out for you.

Do us a favor.

I'm old enough to remember when there used to be tiger cubs behind the counter. Played with more than a few baby tigers when I was 3-6.

Almost got pounced by one when I was 8ish.

As for the tiger now, the guy ran one of the most successful breeding programs from there. I don't go there because the place is filthy and gas is high at that exit. Nothing against the guy having a tiger.

As for those eating at the restaurant, NO NO NO!
