I refuse to make skin to skin contact with cashiers, waiters, etc.

You should have informed him that in this country, the customer is never wrong and that customer service is how businesses stay afloat and how employees stay employed, and that he was disrespecting you.

Well, they are no longer in their indigenous country, so it's their responsibility to adjust, not the guy purchasing the goods. This just highlights one more point where we as Americans tolerate this type of behavior from people who refuse to assimilate.

Because he doesn't ring up cash sales and pockets it without paying taxes. Now you caused him to think you were paying with debit so he rang it up on the register. I use to work at a convenience store when I was a teenager and a seperate register was used for cash sales only.
