The thing is the race of the folks in any commercial shouldn’t bother you. It’s a damn commercial. Don’t even think about it.

The point is, it's not realistic. So why do it?

As for me, I get along with and equally respect everyone without having to be told to by a fast food chain.

DirecTV ones are terrible.

The "I love you a bushel and a peck" one makes me want to tear out my eardrums.

Ford and Chevy commercials are both obnoxiously condescending.

The "What's a computer?" twat is still the worst.

The "All Star Family" car commercials on the radio. They run them several times in a hour whenever I'm listening to Sports Today. The little song drives me nuts after hearing it about 50 million times over the years. To me, it's like hearing someone drag their fingernails over a chalk board.

The USAA commercial with the wife who outranks her beta husband in the military and at home.

All of the USAA commercials suck,

the Sergeant who claims he lost power and USAA paid him enough to restock his refrigerator? What is his deductible?

"Ding Ding"......

He apparently doesn't like to discuss race- and that's fine. But any person willing to be honest with themselves surely must notice this.

The alarm company commercials and the way they always- ALWAYS- portray the white, beta husband incapable of protecting his family from the always white home invader (no diversity there, eh? ) is another storyline that's stale.

I agree with you- they intend for you to notice.
