It's 2015 and frats still seem to be obsessed with the South African.

An even older, shittier, less talented, and more redundant band. Probably from Georgia. Probably already way past their prime, if you could even call it that. Probably called Widespread Panic.

I don't know, but he should start a winery and call it "Grape Culture"

They've tapped into WSP years ago. Moon Taxi is big in the frat scene and they're pretty awful.

I had no idea the frat stars still rocked DMB. They were so big if you were in a frat in the mid to late 90s. It seemed like you couldn't walk 10ft without hearing Ants Marching or What Would You Say. When Crash came out all you would hear on a Saturday night after football games was Crash Into Me and Tripping Billies. Crazy that they're still being played considering they've had 1 song in the top 20 since 1996.

Why the hell would he retire? Is it really hard to mewl into a mic and strum an acoustic guitar once you get past a certain age? Especially when you have an inexplicably gigantic fan base?

He's still really popular.

I don't really understand why frats all flock to easy jam music. I guess because it's good for drinking and getting laid, which is a perfectly valid reason.
