I hate overhead bin space. It slows everything down, a lot. Ironically, I always carry on and suffer from overhead bin anxiety- the fear that my boarding group won’t have anymore space.

I NEVER use overhead bin. If it's a short trip, I do a backpack and a small duffel, which I am able to fit under the seat in front of me. Otherwise, I check my shite because I'm considerate of others.

I realize checking bags can be inconvenient, but the families of 5 where every single adult and child has a rolling carry-on stuffed to the top PLUS an overstuffed duffel/backpack can die in a fire.

Yep. It's just basic consideration for others.

I don't even think taking advantage of the carry on + personal item thing is bad across the board. If you're traveling alone and you do this, there's probably someone else who checked everything that is canceling your stuff out. But a family of 5 getting on a plane with 10 bags (5 rolling, 5 duffels), pillows, stuffed animals, etc. is flat out inconsiderate.

This is also why pre-check/global entry is the best thing I've ever spent $100 on.

USA is controlled Israeli foreign policy/interest.

Federal Reserve System is a huge scam.

Our healthcare system is garbage.

Capitalism is overrated yet we are told it's the greatest model out there due to the "freedom" we have.

Trump will not change a damn thing.

Most social issues are a big distraction.

women entering the work force absolutely decimated wages.

Actually that isn't an unpopular opinion, that's an unpopular fact.

I'd say it's underrated.

“As a rule, capitalism is blamed for the undesired effects of a policy directed at its elimination. The man who sips his morning coffee does not say, "Capitalism has brought this beverage to my breakfast table." But when he reads in the papers that the government of Brazil has ordered part of the coffee crop destroyed, he does not say, "That is government for you"; he exclaims, "That is capitalism for you.” Ludwig von Mises, Interventionism: An Economic Analysis

Interesting thought

Is it that they increased the supply of labor and therefore lowered the price? Or were you just suggesting they are shitty salary negotiators?

Obviously the former. You double the supply of labor and of course the demand for labor will decline by half.
