This is simply false.

Corporate income tax is responsible for 9% of federal tax revenues. Individual income taxes make up 47% of federal tax revenues.

Feel free to disagree with my opinions, but this one isn't even debatable.

Who cares what the rates are? Real dollars are the only thing that matters. On average, effective rates aren't anywhere close to the statutory rates anyway, corporate or individual, so discussing rates while ignoring tax base is absolute folly.

Edited to clarify effective rate point

They want big government, they should pay for it.

In any case, I will probably spend my tax savings on travel. Looks like I may be able to save around $3600.

So...hey, I’m saving $2,000 a year on this tax cut!
Let me go out and buy a tricked out F-250 with a $7.5 annual note (that I can’t afford) because I got some awesome tax savings.

Don’t bring facts and logic to this argument.

Well we can obviously argue this all day. I like the bill, you don't. We have different views on gov't policy. Tomato tomato.

We'll agree to disagree.

I'm not in the mood to argue. It's Christmas time. Merry Christmas, happy New Year. Hope the holidays treat you well.

This is the difference between the OT and the poliboard. Over there, the thread would have devolved into insults by now. The OT is a bastion of maturity by comparison. Let that sink in.
