Garbage men. The only person needed on a garbage truck now is the driver, who also operates the lift system that picks up the garbage can to dump in truck. Does anyone still have garbage men pick up the garbage in their area?

My service does. But if he throws the empty can in the middle of my driveway one more time...

With a pencil in hand Architects are scarce. What passes now is computer aided. The machine does the work.

Bet you started on a table with a number 2 pencil too. Way more attention to detail with the folks who learned it this way.

When we had garbage men, they wouldn't consistently throw the empty can in the middle of the driveway, but they did consistently just throw them in the direction of my house so they would end up in random spots all the time. And it was like that through the whole neighborhood,

Pilots?

I mean they're still around of course, but the "heyday" is gone. They're nothing but glorified bus drivers now. The flight attendants are fat and gay. I've never met an airline pilot who is happy with his life or his job, they're all miserable. And I know a lot of airline pilots.

Truck driver (switching to driverless cars)

I dont see truck drivers going away anytime in the near future. There is just too much liability on the line to have that much weight being driven down the road without a driver. Add to that all the dumbass drivers who constantly cut off trucks and you have yourself a disaster in the making bc a robot will not be able to react quick enough.

We do. We had a single driver trash pick up service. However, the entire neighborhood complained. Why? This trash service would not pick up trash that didn't fit in the can (large boxes, chairs, etc). Everything had to fit in the can. Well, sometimes you need more service than that.

So long as your are willing to do the house research on your own, sure. But for me, I don't have time for that. I needed someone to let me know that the house I was interested in was zoned to a school full of Mexicans and blacks.

This means less nurses they can use and it saves the hospital money. This increases the work loads of the nurse. Numerous studies have shown that when you increase these ratios and take away help from nursing assistants....medical errors increase as well.
.

I have definitely seen this become worse during my career as an RN. Most people don't realize how unsafe it is to be in a hospital. I would never allow one of my family members to be alone at the hospital without a knowledgeable advocate with them at all times.
