Huh? Western civilization has been under attack for well over 1000 years by those savages. It still is. We were losing up until the 19th century.

Islam is the easy part.

The hard part is dealing with the internal cancer of Leftism. Our own values demand tolerance. That's why it is so important to maintain a free marketplace of ideas and why it is so important to Leftists to shut down free expression and tolerance of any dissenting view.

Also, China - a competitive advanced civilization which was really just in hibernation for a couple centuries - is now actively pursuing hegemony through economics as they steadily build their military.

The greatest thing to happen to humanity was the smooth transition from British Imperialism to US hegemony.

The result has been a general peace (relative to what existed before), increased global living standards, the medical revolution, the industrial revolution, the green revolution, the tech revolution, civil liberties, and representative government.

You can bet your arse the last two will disappear if China ascends without our resistance. If Islams resurges without our resistance, every last advancement on that list is gone.
