What are simple things that give you fits?

For me it's the straps and buckles on tie downs and boat covers.
I brain fart every time I touch one no matter how many times I have to frick with them.

One that gets me, probably due to the infrequency of need, is how to properly rewind the pull cord on the lawnmower. The recoil thing...
