Moved to the country and bought land, so I still pay what I was paying for a nice place in Cinco Ranch even though the rate is much lower.

Property taxes anywhere you live is money that you have to give to the government to keep your house.

More than I paid in Davis County Utah and these guys do not even clean and de-ice neighborhood streets in the winter. Also, very minimal pregaming before winter storms.
