You can forget about football season this year. LSU two year reign as champion !

Us Gumps don't claim that many.
I agree with you on this. I know plenty of Alabama fans and most of them don't "claim" that many and realize that many way back when are ridiculous.

Bottom line, LSU had a great year last year, hats off to the team...enjoy but don't be ridiculous.

we have been screwed out of just as many that you claim are questionable so it all comes out in the wash. In other words, we're at least close to the totals we claim.
This is statement I have to question. Please give specific examples when Alabama was screwed out of a national championship.

With so many complaints around the country of inflated ticket prices, less than stellar home schedules, and shitty kickoff times, seems like now is the time to pop the college football bubble by refusing to order season tickets. Perhaps a 40-50% drop in season tickets sales will wake these AD's up.
With the potential hit that athletic departments are likely to encounter, I'm afraid that we are about to see an increase in ticket prices.

There's only one season I can think of in the early 70's. We finished undefeated, Notre Dame finished with a loss, but Notre Dame was ranked #1. Can't remember if polling at that time stopped before bowl games and if that ND loss was their bowl game.

So the first statement is not true, right?

I don't know. I've never cared enough to do any research on the topic. We have 6 in my adult life, and 2 or 3 more in my lifetime, and that's good enough for me.

It's time to eliminate athletic scholarships and reward good students with scholarships. Based on a nationwide standardized test only. No punishment for being Asian or no reward for other groups. Fair across the board. Get rid of half the professors. Time to take education SERIOUSLY. Louisiana has 14 colleges, shut 10 of them down NOW !!!

JBE is going to shut down the LSU season to protect everyone from the second round of Covid-19.

yeah it doesnt go away completely, i never said that, the flu also can be transmitted during the summer, but it is knocked down significantly by the hot weather
here's a peer reviewed academic article on the last SARS outbreak in regards to temperature

I don’t know where you heard this, but you are VERY wrong. According to the CDC and WHO, “COVID-19 virus can be transmitted in areas with hot and humid climates”.
Stop spreading misinformation and educate yourself on the facts.
You are the one spreading misinformation. The other poster wrote that “it may calm down” because corona viruses “don’t transmit well in hot weather”. The second part is a fact, and the first part did not assert anything. There are peer reviewed papers that show that COVID-19 virus is adversely affected by heat, light, and humidity. Is it enough to make a material difference in contagiousness? If he doesn’t know he should have used the word “may”. Oh, wait...
