$5k bail...really? I know he's homeless, but damn thats crazy. He needs to be hung in the square next week.

We are seriously going to have to do something drastic about the drug, and homeless epidemic. Can't stop the drug pushers from making it, cant show enough kids "your brain on drugs" issues, so we need to do something to them more. F it if they are killing themselves with the drugs...then lets get to it earlier.

If parents dont want their kids taken out by the drugs then be more vigilant about it. Plain and simple.

This is precisely what the BLM idiots like TJ don't understand. People with no knowledge of the lethal potential of suspects are the ones who think they should dictate dept policy.

Most of them have no clue what the 21 ft rule is or why it's standard training.

A big problem is when they refer to an aggressor/suspect or whatever as unarmed. If an aggressor disarms a police officer by attacking him/ her, he is armed. Once a weapon is on site, all people there are potentially armed.

Yeah, that's a common, and dangerous misconception. Keeping distance is the #1 priority, but it's not always an option.

Protest in the Southside of Chicago last night after CPD shot an ARMED suspect who went for the gun on body camera.

Their gripe? Body camera footage wasn’t released fast enough. You can’t make this stuff up. BLM never waste the opportunity to exploit an OIS (Officer involved shooting), however justified it may be.

But we are suppose to hear their arguments and give them credibility? No, that’s not how this works. That’s not how any of us this works.

I hope the next Officer Cesna pulls the trigger and holds his own press conference.

FIFY

Anyone who decided to enter into the police force has my respect. The job is dangerous, and I want no part in it. There are too many crazy people out there who has no trouble with harming someone, especially a cop.

Also, just wondering because the article didnt clarify as far as I could tell. Did the criminal sling the rock at the officer and he fell. Or was the officer charged and hit in the head before he could really defend himself. I can only imagine how quickly this happened, probably happened all in a matter of seconds. Hurts my heart.
