I bought some high end steaks from a specialty beef company and he warned me that when I opened the sealed package I would get a “whiff” because of they packaging
And natural treatment of beef

These were expensive steaks and the meat packaging was where some of my steak snob friends only would get their meat
These guy were all multi multi millionaires and real meat snobs
Regardless I did not like the whiff and really happy with the quality of steaks I get at sams or Costco for a lot less
Never went back to that butcher

I went to the Treasure Chest for a steak night. They offered T Bone steaks. One side is the New York strip and that was fine. But the other side, the Filet, was like a preformed patty of some type of meat. I complained and they acted like I was crazy.
