The vibe I got is OP does love the kid and he's making light of a situation that he doesn't really care about. The jest in the post is screaming at you but the social justice warrior is coming out hotter than OPs gay son.

I took it as his step son was coming out and the SJWs thought the humor part was an attack.
Which they shouldnt be pissed at anyway, if gays want to be "normal" dealing with humor at their expense is part of it.
