Moe's is a great place. Food is phenomenal, good beer selection, live music, and house music is nothing but jams.

Their merchandise is pretty badass too

I love the Grand Hotel. We go every 4th of July and always have a great time.

I hate we missed it when we went. We drove down Sunday afternoon, and left Thursday headed to Biloxi.

by the way natchez is about 80 miles from BR and point clear is about 225 miles. Not same by a wide margin. Eat at the steakhouse at grand. $$$ but very good

And the restaurant/bar with the golf-themed stuff in it at the Grand makes one hell of a mint julep.

A short drive from The Grand at Point Clear is The Wash House. They have great food, service and atmosphere. A less expensive option to the Grand is the Hampton Inn in downtown Fairhope. Easy walking to everything and the hotel is nicer that the usual Hampton Inn. The Grand is really damn nice though.

I'm actually just passing through Mobile now. God I did NOT miss the tunnel traffic.

Fairhope Inn is nice. The owner and chef is from Baton Rouge.
