That's ridiculous. Arkansas was smart enough to make it cheaper than getting it from your friendly neighborhood weed guy, especially with the daily specials, early bird specials, and points you can build up. The dispensary in West Memphis usually has more TN tags than AR tags in the parking lot. I wonder how MS getting them soon is going impact AR sales?

It's because the legislators in Louisiana have to get their cut. They not only severely limited the number of growers (2) and dispensaries (9 throughout the state), cutting down on the supply and overall availability, but several of the legislators have ownership stakes in the dispensaries. A bill expanding grower and dispensary licensing went before the legislature committee on 04/06, and it now has a status of "considered". That normally means the committee voted it down.
