Wednesday Night Wrestling Wars Thread: Fight for the COVID Edition

Kevin Owens continues to show some disappointment with WWE... revealing his desire to go back to NXT though it seems that request has been denied and he will stay up on the main roster
Best wishes to Diamond Dallas Page who has come down with the COVID-19... hope he recovers quickly b/c he was absolutely 1 of my favorites growing up
And while we're giving out best wishes... let's give some to Will Ospreay... who revealed he has seriously considered suicide during these times. It seems like he's been able to fight through those thoughts but hope he finds himself in a happier spot soon because he is super talented
Now for tonight's show previews... starting with AEW Dynamite | Fight for the Fallen which will be raising funds for COVID-19 relief
Now that Raylene has stopped trying to give everyone the China Flu... we can have our main event from last week's show tonight as Jon Moxley defends the AEW Championship against the newly "crowned" FTW Champion Brian Cage (if you aren't familiar with the FTW Championship in ECW... look it up to see why this makes sense)
Cody Rhodes defends the AEW TNT Championship against Sonny Kiss... a segment that will have G riveted to the TV I'm sure
The match of the night... I have no doubts about it... FTR takes on the Lucha Bros
6-man tag team action as the Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks) take on Jurassic Express... is this how Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus get catapulted into AEW Tag Title top contender status?
Brandi Rhodes & "The Bunny" Allie team up to take on the scariest tag team in all of wrestling... TBA
In the most shocking thing you'll read tonight... Chris Jericho apparently has something to say and will be given time on air to say it... stunning I know

The new "champ-champ" of NXT will cut a promo... that of course being the new NXT Champion & still NXT North American Champion Keith Lee... gives everyone a chance to Bask in his Glory

Cameron Grimes and that amazing hat try to make it 2-up on Damien Priest
Here's "The Bunny" being super-patriotic in her bikini... enjoy

I would say Cole right now b/c he's the most "available" to move up at the moment... meaning he doesn't have a championship and currently no real story on NXT
but that is of course subject to change as the situation changes

NXT has been beating AEW in the ratings for 3 weeks in a row now. Looking at tonight's lineup they should easily make it four. Cody vs Sonny Kiss and Brandi/Allie vs jobbers will be ratings poison. I expect Elite vs Jurassic Express to be a goofy comedy match as well.

to be fair... NXT's previews for tonight aren't too overwhelming either
at least AEW has a top title match (Mox/Cage)

Sonny Kiss' second match on Dynamite and he has a competitive title match with one of the biggest stars in the company. I don't understand why they're so scared to have squash matches on Dynamite.
