gotta like how AEW tries to explain some of the discrepancies... sometimes

Same ending they did with MJF and Cody. I was expecting Darby Allin to interfere but here he is after the match.

I had forgotten all about Allin and his thing with Taz & Cage... probably should've had his cost Cage I agree... though I guess AEW doesn't want Moxley possibly looking like a weak champion

Enough with Grimes...I see his face and my finger hits FFWD until he's done. Instead NXT needs more Scarlett and FFS figure out something for Ciampa. Hell you don't have to turn him to put the NA belt on him. Just setup the match like they did to get their newest rainbow warrior in there with Io tonight. Or run a damn tournament for a vacated NA title.
12 men over 3 weeks... give byes to Ciampa, Dijokovic, Gargano, and Cole. Make sure Strong is setup to face Cole in the semis. 4 matches Week 1, 4 Week 2, and semis/finals to open & main event Week 3. Storyline: UE divided by the semi, Cole wins with help from Fish/O'Reilly, Strong comes out and costs Cole the title vs Ciampa.
It gives Ciampa something to do but also sets up Cole v Strong at the next Takeover (labor day weekend???), Ciampa gets one of the other rising 2 UE members, and it accomplishes Cole giving Strong the rub if he's headed to the main roster. Throw Karion vs Lee and Kai vs Io and your TO card is set. 3 weeks leading into Takeover would lock in good counter programming during AEW's build towards All Out.
ETA: May or may not be around Sunday night. Wife's great aunt died so we've got a funeral to go to before headed to the north for some family R&R/shooting/blowing shite up time. Definitely won't be watching the PPV live.
