I’ll have to see if I can find some. As for usisng Buffalo Rock, I’ll drink it with bourbon sometimes like a bourbon & Coke. It’s really good. Or at least I think so.

Want me to pull up the post(s) where you said your lawyers said you had a slam dunk case against the doctors?

Darth, I'm just glad you are still with us. I'm glad you had some good experienced Drs. who saved you.

If you ever need a good heart surgeon (I hope you don’t), Dr. Casterline at Grandview is worth whatever it takes to get to him.

All we need is just a little controversy and we can make it. Difference is, he doesn't have 20% of the posts like that weird guy does.

Do whatever makes you happy. Just don’t leave out the their whole statement where they told me that I did indeed have a slam dunk case for malpractice, even called it one of the worst cases they’d ever seen, BUT the fact I survived meant my case would probably never see a settlement to justify the cost of going through with it.

So go on, get to digging, junior.

Darth, when I went into FH, it took them about a week to find that. 10 years, I'm still hanging. Had a bunch of close calls over the years. I still have to do blood work every week and I see my transplant team once a month. I done passed up having a LVAD put in. Just flat out told them no. I am due to do a Heart cath and echo gram. That happens every 6 months. Last EF was 15%.

You’re too old. You have to start with coloring books at a very young age

Damn. That’s sucks man. Thankfully my recovery has been described by my doctors as nothing short of a miracle. Yeah I had to make a lot of adjustments and I’m on a lot of medics the rest of my life, not to mention I literally tick like a watch now thanks to the mechanical mitral valve which does drive me nuts sometimes. But at least I’m here and living an almost normal life with only a few restrictions.

I don’t know your full situations but if you want to get another opinion on your heart, I highly reccomended if you can come to Birmingham and get an appointment at Cardiovascular Associates at the Colonnade. If possible, see Dr. Jerry Chandler. If anyone can help you and give you some hope, he can.

final stages of congestive heart failure and they still thought I just had pneumonia

We think this is how my mom died. After the flood she was told she had developed a lung infection from the flood waters. 2 weeks later, she died of a heart attack. We think she may have had CHF and the infection hurried things along, especially since she was diagnosed with a lung infection.

Pfft. You're stupid. Knowledge trumps experience.
