Joe Haynes in Shreveport (KTBS) had a map that predicted 3.5 inches for the BR area. The Advocate says BR got 3.5. Go Joe.

Weather.gov is what you should always go to. Weather.com and other outlets are idiots and there to make money off of hits and views.

Was never aware of this until this semester taking a weather & climate class.

quote:

The day before, Grimes showed all 4 models (1 predicting nothing and 1 predicting 3-4"). He said the models had him confused - he was honest and took the time to lay out the facts. Shingleton, on the other hand, took his time to tell jokes and act like the bafoon he is.

That's what everyone is pissed about. It's not that they were wrong. It's that they were just flat out dicms about it. "Ohh you idiots and your cute little weather apps think it's going to snow? Hahaha you don't have degrees like us. I mean most of us."

I guess WBRZ is the weather partner for 102.5 because they were on the radio all day Thursday and Thursday night screaming no snow and LOLing about people talking about the possibility. They seriously need to be called out.
