Not a weather expert but probably would help the experts to let them know where the boil is....

Get in a garage or use a pop up tent, genius.

Unless you are in the 20% of the area that gets rain, you’ll be fine until the evening.

ETA: The wind will be whipping your arse, however.

Take a stick and tie a rope around it and hang it from a tree:

If is dry it’s not raining
If it’s wet it’s raining
If it has ice on it it’s cold
If it’s warm it’s hot
If it’s missing move who wants to live somewhere where people steal sticks

It’s Dale you’re talking about.
Dale can only do so much, Indefatigable.

The severe threat for Saturday is legit. How much notice do you need to cancel? The system won't move through until the evening right now, but cells ahead of the line are a possibility.

Well, according to what I'm seeing on my home page for extended forecast, 100% chance of rain predicted for Saturday with a high of 83 and a low of 69.

Take all that with a grain of salt since weathermen have the only job I know of where they can be right 50% of the time and still make that money.

Plenty of “Financial Planners” would also fall into this description.

According to what I saw last weekend and what the predictions were compared to what I see predicted this weekend

I wouldnt listen to a fricking thing they predict.

Just go on with your life and stop planning your activities around what some hack says on tv that is wrong 50% of the time.

My meteorologist says “ Live, damn it! If it rains, take the boil into your outdoor kitchen.”
