I wonder if everyone getting boob jobs will have the same affect. That would be nice.

I've wondered about this from time to time. Like if something so traumatic happened to you, it could imprint to your dna and pass down to your immediate offspring.

You can take a puppy from a herding breed (like a border collie) when it is tiny, raise it around no other herders, and that sucker will grow up to herd every cat, cow, or sheep it encounters.

It's in their DNA. How did it get there?

I was in line at the grocery store, right behind your mom, you was buying lysol and moth balls. I assumed the lysol is her preferred method of douching.

Damn, you're mentally handicapped too.

Phenotype does not influence Genotype. It's the opposite

She was probably thinking about epigenomes.
quote:

An epigenome consists of a record of the chemical changes to the DNA and histone proteins of an organism; these changes can be passed down to an organism's offspring via transgenerational epigenetic inheritance. Changes to the epigenome can result in changes to the structure of chromatin and changes to the function of the genome.

This one person was trying to tell the other two people that when you wear braces (teeth) it changes your DNA and somehow, eventually; more and more people will have perfect teeth, when they grow their adult teeth.

The funniest thing about this statement is that braces hide the people with the bad teeth DNA and makes it more likely that this trait spreads throughout the gene pool.
