Always got one off the farm ... would cut down a young cedar tree ... didn't have the perfect shape of a tree off a professional tree farm, but they had their own beauty ...

I take my daughter to pick out a tree every year. We don't cut one down ourselves at a tree farm, but we do get a real one. A company from Wisconsin I think sets up shop at the mini-golf parking lot in nov-dec.
