I've been, "we need to talk later'd" a couple times.

It's a pretty shitty feeling.

That is why non crazy people dont worry about it. I hear someone say we need to talk later, I just plan on talking to them later.

The work version of this is, "I need you to stop by my office."

This shite has been upvoted? Sometimes a conversation needs to be reserved for when there is enough time to discuss the situation without any room for confusion.

You dick frick....here's your options...1, give some idea what it's about or 2, if you have some intelligence and respect for the other person....keep that shite to yourself until later when you were thinking there would be the time to talk.

When you tell someone that you need to talk later without any context...you know you're being an a-hole...and nah, you're just being an a-hole when you do that. No ands or but ifs around it.....and you know you're being an a-hole when you do it. So I agree with OP. I also agree with poster that said it basically sucks when you're busy and get a call or visit to talk right now too...some people are just assholes and don't know when and where is the time to discuss certain things.

I don't know about you but I was glad she waited until after thanksgiving dinner, with the family around, to tell me about the herpes

I had a girl call me on Good Friday to apologize, and tell me she had crabs. She told me to go to a pharmacy, get some Rid shampoo, and use it before I went home for Easter. She said she was worried I'd spread it to my parents. I was relived she wasn't calling to say she was pregnant.

I do it to my gf every now and then. Last time I did it was about what she wanted for dinner. I let her sweat for a few hours thinking something was wrong, and then asked her what she wanted to eat that night. Gotta keep em in line

I Hate that. Just freaking tell me instead of saying we need to talk later sometimes it's not good news. Drives me nuts when people do that.
