Teacher sounds like she has a South African accent. Some South Africans can be real assholes and have an aggressive personality. Why didn't the teacher confiscate the phone of the student recording the confrontation?

It's disgusting, sad, and downright scary to see what's going on. These same kids that are defiant, lazy, and apathetic are the same ones that will be unemployable Democrats bitching about income inequality.

I'd prefer to support the teacher here but repeatedly grabbing stuff from the "student's" hands and yelling in her face seems like it's probably frowned upon in the profession

Coach I feel for y’all I really do. It’s sad. Some of the stories I hear are crazy.
1 story I heard was the mom talk the daughter into getting pregnant not once but twice to get food stamps and section 8. The student actually talk to the counselor about this. It’s crazy what is happening to society

Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of great kids too. On that note, here's an inside tip; if your children are in public schools, get them in honors classes - even if they're just "normal" and performing on level. This will keep them away from the riff-raff and surround them with students that are motivated.

I grew up in the 50s and 60s in Catholic school. That type of discipline was the norm. And you didn't have to smart off to a teacher to get smacked. Not doing your assigned work was looked at as disrespecting your teacher and your education. And God forbid you go home and try to tattle on the teacher. Oh hell no!

No, we need more parents to slap the shite out of their disrespectful child. It's hard enough for a teacher to have to teach class, now they have to teach respect to their students cause the parents never did.
Now the teacher will get fired, and that kid, along with every other student in that class will think the teacher was in the wrong. Then they grow up and have their own disrespectful little shits and system repeats itself.
