We lost our beloved pet of 13 years yesterday

He showed up at our house and never left. We took him in and gave him a life fit for a king. We will miss you buddy. Cancer sucks

Mine has a mass on the liver and pneumonia right now. Still eating and drinking but very tired and lethargic. I hope y'all find some comfort soon. Tough seeing them fade away on you.

We lost our 10 year old pup due to cancer this past year. This dog we would have done anything for but because of her age the vet talked us out of chemo. It’s going to take some time man. Here’s a great BBC story I found the other day about a family that created a bucket list for their dog dying of cancer. My wife and I had a bucketlist for our dog as well. The last 6 weeks we had with here were memorable—hiking in around Chattanooga, crawfish at Frankie and johnnies, dat dog (multiple times), music at the spotted cat. Bless your sweet pup, brother.

We got a new dog a few months back hoping for this. We love the little dude but you forget how much a pain in the arse puppies are. Our friends were questioning us on getting a new dog so soon, both my wife and I work from home and needed something around the house. Getting a new dog does not always help.

Crap, I hate hearing it. The only good thing about dogs not living as long as us is that we get to have 5 or 6 in our lives. It sucks when they go though
