This is a great site. I can remember a long time ago Texags was great. It has become an absolute joke now due to the mods and their extreme move to the left. The site has zero traffic now. I hope this site doesn’t turn in that direction

Yes, I have found this to be the best place for me to keep tabs on the great southern American idiot zeitgeist. This platform provides an excellent observational view of how you animals interact in an echo chamber environment. I am constantly amazed at what some of you reveal about yourselves when you feel you are in a safe environment of like-minded individuals. Keep up the great work people of the OT

I started on this board more than a decade ago to rustle some jimmes on the Rant, but I've stayed because this place provides genuine news and entertainment. Few public places left that allow the conversations that happen here.

Entertainment and amusement. Distraction when I need a break from things.

20 years ago, there were a zillion places / forums that were like TD, but just focused on different interests. They weren't policed heavily by admins, and you got to say what you wanted in general. It's amazing how things have changed and how fast.
