Do the news folk still gather at Ivar's? I haven't been in years. But you used to be able to see and hear them do things that they would run other people out of town for.
I also always got a kick out of younger kids who would come in to Ivar's for the first time and be shocked to see Pat Shingleton.
On a few occasions I've seen these kids buy him a shot and then act all excited and surprised that they did a shot with the weatherman they grew up with.
