Watching these cop shows.. something I don't like

Cops running a drug dog around the outside of your car should be considered an illegal search.

I went through west texas last week on the way back from Big Bend Nat'l Park, and the fricking feds stopped me (for clarification, they stop everyone. they're border patrol guys with pull-over stop stations) and peered inside my jeep, and asked me and my comrades about our citizenship
I was thinking about giving them a hard time, but I had a couple doobs in the back, so I thought better of it.

It's dicey but I am sure there are enough cases where if a dog has a tell then it proves probable cause if you don't have a good enough lawyer to fight it.

Stop smoke weed in your car.
I don’t care if you do smoke weed but if your car stays smelling like weed, that exact thing is gonna happen.
It’s stupid that weed is illegal but that’s just inviting BS into your life by smoking in your car

And they know how to make the dog react even when they don't smell something.
They use them to give false positives so they have a right to search. A cop told me this once.
