Thanks for the Michael Young endorsement.

Glad it worked out. His work verges on unbelievable. It is one of the things I like about watches there are some serious craftsmen/artists in the sector.

Good to see they're bringing Explorer back to dainty femboys.
That 36mm explo would look just right on my 8” wrist, baw.

Other than some of the uber high priced pieces, the only offering I've seen yet that moved me in the pants way was by Chopard, of all people:

The Chopard L.U.C QF Jubilee is a gorgeous watch and carries the L.U.C. hallmark so it is finished extremely well (Fleurier Quality Foundation standard). The movement is gorgeous too and I am a sucker for a micro-rotor but have never owned one. A lot of people think of Chopard as a jewelry maison but they have serious watch chops and produce some serious Haute Horlogerie watches. But they have only been back at the full manufacture level for about 25 years which in the watch world is a blink of the eye, well unless you are Lange who has done more than anyone with their "short" reboot.

It’s something that you don’t realize until you’re in it. The artisans in this space are simply amazing. He took a worn out, 38 year old band and tightened it up so much I had to release the clasp 2 positions and add an extra link. Simply astonishing. It’s nice knowing that beyond the timeless engineering, I have access to people who truly care about preservation.

36 is the most proportional size, for the average wrist.

Mine is 7 1/2"-7 3/4" and pretty flat. I don't personally like anything smaller than a 40 on me at all.

I used to scoff at the Chopard, Hermes, and (modern) Tiffany of the world, but there's no denying they have turned the corner in the last decade+
