Tackle chase was rugged and not for the faith of heart. First time I got my wind knocked out pretty much sucked the fun out of it for me.

The stampede after throwing a superball off the back wall of the auditorium was epic.

They made us quit all this stuff for some reason.

That might be the narrative you like to create for yourself, but it doesn't really match the reality of the numbers.

Probably not one you guys got to play, but king of the hill was always a big one for us.

Find the snow piles from where they cleared the playground, secure the high ground, and then repel all comers back down the mountain

ETA: OP had it, but regardless we played it on massive snow piles.

We used to play this toward the end of soccer practice in high school, though we called it asses up. If you missed the goal completely you had to go join the fellas in there.

It's a card game based around face cards. You take turns flipping cards until a face card is drawn. The other person then has a set number of chances (A-4, K-3, Q-2, J-1) to produce a face card or the other picks up the deck. And, of course, slap doubles.

Jack is the best card in the game.

Field Day! I’ve still got my blue ribbon from the three legged race! I thought it was an Olympic Gold medal equivalent! Ha ha
