Who knows a good place in Lafayette to have a watch battery replaced?

They can normally do this at the counter at your local KMart.

Buy the tools and battery and do it yourself.

Its all very cheap.

Or get a Rolex so you don't have this problem.

do it yourself. google your make/model to find the type of battery you need. there's likely a replacement video too. you probably won't even need a special tool to open the back of the watch, i didn't. it was all much simpler than i thought it would be.

You tube has very instructive videos on how to do this yourself. The battery is probably available at Walgreen's or CVS.
