Bet my 6.2 Lariat would smoke his arse.
ETA: Joking mostly lol.
My dad has a 2016 King Ranch w/ the Ecoboost. The new Fords are insane inside and out.

SO that statement clearly cannot be true.

290 mile trip to Paris Tn, 6.2 Denali 16.7 mpg pulling side by side, full load of hunting gear on 12 foot trailer. One weekend later 3.5 ecoboost pulling same set up, 11.9 mpg. So what's the eco part of his engine.

I hate the Ecoboosts, but even that sounds low.....Was this straight in the city?
I get 15-16 MPG in my 6.2 on the highway, but probably 10-11 in the city. Granted, i don't drive much in the city, mostly mid-long range roadtrips.

It was a mixed bag, that turbo stayed spooled up the entire time. I told the guy he needs to go have it checked because if that's all it has it's false advertised. Now, when you unload it, holy shite it will fly.

Pretty well known they get awful mpg's when in boost. Goes for any turbo vehicle though. The eco part is just marketing.

Nobody buys a truck if he is worried about gas mileage.

That's badass.
How does it launch in 2wd? I would think the transfer case would eat up power and may do better in 2wd if it has decent traction.

That's ok. My V6 F150 gets like 16 mpg - almost entirely highway. My last V8 did better.

That was 1.51 sec. 60'?
Does he leave it in 4x4 the whole run? Guess that doesn't damage it?
